The F-16 Pilot Conspiracy Claim

Conspiracy Theory: In February 2004, Colonel Donn de Grand Pre (retired) said on 'The Alex Jones Show' that Flight 93 was taken down by the North Dakota Air Guard claiming he knew the pilot who fired the missles that took down Flight 93. de Grad Prix named Major Rick Gibney, claiming he fired two sidewinder missles at the aircraft and destroyed it in midflight at precisely 09:58 military time.

Fact: Lieutenant Colonel Gibney was in flight from Fargo, ND to Bozeman, Montana to pick up Ed Jacoby, the director of NY State Emergency Offices. Gibney then flew Jacoby from Montana to Albany, NY in order for Jacoby to coordinate 9-11 rescue worker response teams.

In the video below, Gibney discusses the events of the day making no mention of his alleged involvement in the shooting down of Flight 93
